Taleer is an AI-powered career platform built specifically for professionals across the Middle East, India, and North Africa. We give professionals the tools, visibility, and connections to grow — in a market that rewards those who stand out.

Taleer is operated by Taleer LLC, a Limited Liability Company registered in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams), UAE.

Taleer LLC is a separate legal entity from Global Management Solutions (GMS). The two companies may collaborate to promote Taleer, but Taleer LLC is independently responsible for all personal data it collects and processes. This Privacy Policy covers Taleer LLC's data practices only.

2. Scope — Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who interacts with Taleer LLC, including:

• Job seekers and professionals who create a Taleer account, build a profile, or use the CV and career tools
• Visitors to the Taleer website or landing pages who submit their details to join the waitlist
• Users of the Taleer mobile or web application
• Employers and recruiters who use Taleer to search for or connect with candidates
• Anyone who contacts Taleer LLC directly with an enquiry

If you are based in the UAE or if Taleer LLC processes your data in connection with activities directed at the UAE, the UAE PDPL applies to you.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect different types of data depending on how you use Taleer. The table below sets out exactly what we collect, where we collect it from, and when.

4. How We Use Your Data and Our Legal Basis

Under the UAE PDPL, Taleer LLC must have a valid legal reason to collect and use your data. The table below shows every way we use your data, the legal basis under PDPL Article 8, and which data is involved.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

Taleer LLC does not sell your personal data to anyone. We share data with third parties only where necessary to provide the Taleer service or where required by law.

6. Your Profile Visibility and Employer Access

Because Taleer is a career platform, how we handle sharing your profile with employers is a particularly important part of this policy. We want to be completely clear about how this works.

Profile visibility settings	You control whether your profile is visible to employers. You can set your profile to private at any time from your account settings. A private profile is not searchable by employers.
Employer search	When your profile is set to visible, verified employers and recruiters on Taleer can search for and find your profile. This is the core matching function of the platform.
Direct sharing	If Taleer LLC directly sends your profile or CV to a specific employer outside of general search, this only happens with your explicit prior consent. You will be asked before this happens.
What employers can see	Name, photo, work history, education, skills, job preferences, and AI-generated profile summary. Employers cannot see your mobile number or email address until you choose to share them.
Withdrawing consent	You can switch your profile to private, remove specific information, or delete your account at any time. This prevents future employer access. It does not affect data already viewed before you changed your settings.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

Taleer LLC keeps your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.

Deleted account data	30 days from the date of your deletion request	Data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can export your CV and data before requesting deletion.
Waitlist data	Until Taleer launches and you create an account, or 12 months — whichever comes first	If you do not create an account within 12 months of joining the waitlist, your waitlist data is deleted.
Payment and billing records	As required by UAE commercial and tax law — typically 5 years	Retained for legal compliance even after account deletion. Personal payment details are not retained.

8. Your Rights Under the UAE PDPL

The UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) gives you specific rights over your personal data. Taleer LLC is committed to honouring these rights.

9. Cookies

The Taleer platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and help us understand how the platform is used.

• Essential cookies — keep you logged in and the platform functioning. Cannot be turned off.
• Preference cookies — remember your settings and display preferences.
• Analytics cookies — anonymised usage data to help us improve the platform. You can turn these off.

By continuing to use the Taleer platform, you accept cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences in the cookie settings panel at any time.

10. Data Security

Taleer LLC takes the security of your personal data seriously. We use the following measures to protect your information:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmitted to and from the Taleer platform
• Secure, access-controlled servers for data storage
• Role-based access controls — Taleer staff only access data needed to do their job
• Regular security assessments and monitoring
• Payment data processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider — Taleer LLC does not store card details

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights, Taleer LLC will notify the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and affected users as required by the UAE PDPL.

11. AI Tools and Automated Processing

Taleer uses artificial intelligence to power the CV builder and job matching features. Because this is a core part of the service, we want to be transparent about how AI processes your data.

What the AI does	Taleer's AI analyses your CV content, work history, education, skills, and job preferences to generate CV improvement suggestions and match you with relevant job opportunities.
What data the AI uses	Only data you have provided to Taleer LLC. The AI does not access data from outside the Taleer platform.
AI-generated output	CV suggestions, profile summaries, and job match scores are AI-generated. You can accept, edit, or reject any AI suggestion. Your original data is always preserved.
Human review	AI-generated content is a tool to assist you — it does not make final decisions about your career or suitability for a role. Hiring decisions are always made by employers, not by Taleer's AI.
Training data	Taleer LLC does not use your personal data to train external AI models without your explicit consent.
Right to contest	If you believe an AI-generated output is inaccurate or unfair, you can edit it directly in your profile or contact us at privacy@taleer.ai.

12. Children and Minimum Age

Taleer is a professional career platform intended for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to create a Taleer account. Taleer LLC does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will close the account and delete the data immediately.

13. International Data Transfers

Taleer LLC is registered in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone and serves users across the Middle East, India, and North Africa. Some of our third-party service providers — including analytics and hosting providers — may process data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including data processing agreements that require those providers to meet standards equivalent to the UAE PDPL.

14. Changes to This Policy

Taleer LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — when we add new features, change our data practices, or when the law requires it. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this policy
• Send you a notification email if the changes affect your rights or how we use your data
• Post a notice on the Taleer platform

We will not reduce your rights under this policy without giving you advance notice and, where required, seeking your consent again.
